And self heating clothing, as the name implies, is to make clothing have the function of active heating. Electric heating element is an important part of it. At present, the materials used in the preparation of heating element mainly include metal materials, metal plating materials, conductive polymers, graphite conductive materials, etc. Among them, the carbon nanotube heating plate and graphene heating plate are the two of the mainstream heating plates with the best comprehensive performance, which have the characteristics of fast temperature rise, uniform heating and stable heating temperature.

At present, the main research and development direction is to make conductive yarn into underwear and heating materials through knitting and embroidery, so that the heating clothing is more gentle, breathable and applied in various forms. Skincore is a wireless automatic heating underwear that can be controlled by a smartphone. It was launched on 14 November 2018 at crowdfunding KickStarter in Canada. Skiincore is made of conductive yarn. It adopts 100% pure knitting design. The heating element is located between the synthetic inner layer of moisture absorption and sweat wicking part and the outer layer of heat insulation wool. The yarn has 18 watts of heat power and can generate heat for up to 8 hours.
