FDY: full drawn yarn, also known as monofilament or filament. Low speed spinning and high-speed drawing winding are adopted, and the two processes are completed on a spinning and drawing combined machine. FDY surface is smooth and stability is good. now in China, many demestic electroplating enterprises are using yarn fabric film from abroad, and the denier is below 30Denier. so the homogeneous competition of the corresponding electromagnetic shielding fabrics (films) has emerged.

DTY: draw texturing yarn, also known as elastic yarn. The difference between FDY and FDY is that there are multiple false twisting processes, that is, during subsequent processing, the yarn is twisted in a certain direction to form many filament yarn (such as 5D / 6F). The wound yarn is still straight. In a relaxed state, it will shrink and fluffy. While FDY in the relaxed state, there is no contraction, no straight filamentous. After elastic processing, polyester DTY has high breaking strength, elastic modulus and good resilience. Its fine denier filament (trefoil shaped filament) is also covered with micropores
Compared with FDY, if the DTY denier is small, its production complexity, technical difficulty and threshold are higner . However, its own characteristics make its saturated absorption of coating metal materials more depth, tight and firm.
